Franklin Creek CabinNearby attractions The Franklin Creek State Natural Area is nearby. It is open, and there are plenty of hiking trails. Kayaks are available for the adventurous. Bring your bicycles and cruise Old Mill Rd. or head into Dixon for miles of great bike trails. The Rock River is also accessible by kayak or canoe; we can arrange pickup services. The Nachusa Grasslands, where bison roam over 1,500 acres, are just 2 miles away. The cabin has everything you need The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and most of the spices you’d need. The Weber grill is on the deck, and charcoal is in the bin. Stop at Franklin Fresh Market in the Grove to pick up your groceries. It has a good meat selection. Our local restaurant, Lincolnway Café, is open for curbside pickup. The patio and outdoor fireplace are ready for the season. It’s a great gathering place. The woodbin is stocked for a robust, relaxing evening before the campfire. With an open floor plan the cabin is cozy with its full bed and sofa bed, its one bathroom, and a kitchen that has a fridge and stove, and microwave. The kitchen is stocked with necessary dishes and utensils. This cabin also has an outdoor fire pit, picnic tables, charcoal grill, and chairs with a view of the Mississippi River. Nearby there is a bar and restaurant, walking, and bike paths. The neighboring town of Savanna has several historical attractions as well. Owners of property have lived in the area for over 15 years and are able to provide more information if requested. Cabin can be rented at different prices for longer stays. Guest access You have access to the grill and the fire pit, which are north of the cabin. Other things to note This is a shared property with another Airbnb. Which both have access to the dock when it is in the water..
