1. Description of Service
Northwest Illinois Convention & Visitors Bureau provides Members with internet access to information for visitors and attractions in Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside counties. Members must provide their own equipment and internet connection, and pay any fees associated with that connection.
2. Disclaimer of Warranties
This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NICVB makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the correctness, accuracy, or reliability of this website, and disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
3. Limitation of Liability
Northwest Illinois Convention & Visitors Bureau shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever — including special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or damages for lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of use — arising out of or related to this website or the information in it, however such damages arise, even if NICVB has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
4. Indemnification
Members agree to indemnify and hold Northwest Illinois Convention & Visitors Bureau, its partners, affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys’ fees — made by a third party arising out of a Member’s use of the service, violation of this agreement, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
5. Modifications and Interruption of Service
NICVB reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service with or without notice, and is not liable to any Member or third party for doing so. NICVB does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to this website.

This website may link to sites owned and operated by other parties. We are not responsible for the availability of, or content on, any third-party site — your use of those sites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
7. Accuracy of Vendor Information
Listing details are provided by the businesses themselves or collected from public sources. While we make every effort to keep this information accurate, NICVB makes no warranties as to the accuracy or reliability of information about any vendor, and any reliance on it is at your own risk.
8. Governing Jurisdiction
This website is operated in the State of Illinois and is governed by Illinois law, without regard to its choice-of-law rules. Any legal action arising from your use of this site must be commenced in Ogle County, Illinois.

Members are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, and may not use this service in a way that violates any state, federal, or international law, or that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability.

Assume that everything you see or read on this site is copyrighted unless otherwise noted. Site design, text, graphics, and their arrangement are the property of Northwest Illinois Convention & Visitors Bureau and/or third parties. Reproduction, distribution, data mining, or other commercial use without prior written permission is prohibited, as is using a robot, spider, or other automated process to copy this site’s pages or content.
