Jarrett Prairie Nature Preserve protects 440 acres of rolling dolomite tallgrass prairie, oak savanna, and woodland. Explore 9.5 miles of mowed trails, visit the free Jarrett Prairie Center museum, watch the night sky at Weiskopf Observatory, or enjoy picnic shelters, a playground, and winter sledding. Dogs are not allowed inside the nature preserve; leashed dogs may use the Don Hamer Recreation Path.
